The city of Perth is home to some of the world's most sandy beaches many of which are close to Perth city centre, along the world-famous Indian Ocean's Sunset Coast. Popular with visitors, locals and tourists in Perth, the spacious beaches are the perfect place to relax, sunbathe, and many of Perth's beaches regularly feature strong waves, making them ideal for surfing.
Perth's stunning Sunset Coast beaches have excellent facilities, and these include beachside restaurants, cafés, water sports, beach games, surfing, outdoor picnic tables, beach events and barbecue areas. Many beach inspectors regularly search Perth's glorious beaches during the summer months and volunteer lifesavers are often on hand during the weekends what a place.
The beaches of Perth, combined with sheltered, clear bathing waters which are ideal for scuba diving and snorkelling, have always been one of the major tourist attractions in Perth.
